Script writer: Golsa Sarabi

Golsa Sarabi is a storyteller shaped by movement—between cultures, disciplines, and perspectives. Originally from Tehran and now based in Los Angeles, her work carries a quiet blend of emotional sensitivity and sharp creative focus.

She began as an actor, and that foundation is still visible in everything she does. There’s a strong awareness of character and presence in her work, a sense that she understands people from the inside out. Projects like The Persian Rug, where she also stepped in as a producer, reflect not just talent but commitment—the kind that comes from wanting to tell stories that matter personally.

What’s interesting about Sarabi is how naturally she expands her role. Moving into writing doesn’t feel like a shift—it feels like a continuation. With Mia: See Clearly, she explores more conceptual territory, but still keeps a human core at the center. Even when the ideas are complex, the emotions underneath remain grounded.

There’s also a certain patience in her journey. Nothing feels rushed or forced. She’s building her voice step by step, learning the craft from different angles, and letting her work evolve with her.

At this stage, Golsa Sarabi feels like an artist still in motion—but moving with intention. Someone who isn’t just chasing opportunities, but shaping a path that reflects who she is and what she wants to say.
