Jorge Raúl Arellano Rico is an emerging filmmaker whose journey into cinema is defined by passion, discipline, and perseverance. Born in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, raised in Juan José Ríos, and currently based in Tijuana, Baja California, Jorge has built his path through determination and hard work rather than shortcuts.
Before fully dedicating himself to filmmaking, he spent nearly eight years working in a factory warehouse — an experience that shaped his resilience and commitment toward his goals. Later, he studied Cinematography and graduated with the highest GPA in his class, reflecting both his technical dedication and artistic ambition.
Driven by a deep love for visual storytelling, Jorge eventually succeeded in independently financing his own short film, transforming a long-held dream into reality. His work reflects emotional intensity, cinematic atmosphere, and a sincere passion for storytelling, establishing him as a promising voice within independent cinema.
